I started my appraisal career in Reno in the beginning of 1974. Since then I worked my way up from an apprentice to local appraiser, then I worked for 2 banks as a staff and then chief appraiser. In 1978 I started my own appraisal firm and I have been appraising in Northern Nevada and Northeast California ever since as an independent fee appraiser. I have appraised a variety of homes and multi family residences in the area. My Certified General Appraisal Licence in Nevada allows me to appraise complex properties which include houses with commercial zoning and apartments with over 4 units. In California I hold a Certified Residential License and I appraise homes around Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Portola, Loyalton and related areas. My clients include many mortgage lenders for conventional loans as well as being on the FHA/HUD and VA appraisal panels. I also appraise for private individuals and attorneys in this area.
